I picked up a few pieces from Korean brands for summer. If you’re interested in Korean fashion, this one’s for you.

안녕 (Hi)

Summer is finally here in Korea. Whenever the seasons change, I usually end up buying a few new clothes. With summer vacations coming up, I thought it was time to do a little shopping. I almost always prefer shopping in person. Being able to try things on makes a huge difference, and clothes almost always look different in real life than they do online. (Unless I’m in a hurry. Then online shopping suddenly sounds like a great idea.) Following the last episode, here’s everything I ended up buying. (A few of these came from places outside #0004 too.)

AMOMENTO PLUS

Trucker Cap, Ivory – USD 100.00

I picked up this cap from AMOMENTO PLUS, one of the brands I mentioned in the last episode. (Every piece of clothing I wanted was already sold out.) With summer here and the sun getting stronger, I’ve been wearing hats a lot lately. It’s made from a lightweight, breathable fabric, almost like a running cap. But true to what AMOMENTO PLUS is all about, it doesn’t feel out of place in everyday life either. It feels like the best of both worlds. The logo is subtle, and I can already tell I’ll be wearing this one for a long time. (Let’s make it a long one.) It came in white, red, and navy. I couldn’t decide between the white and the red, but I ended up going with the white. (White just feels right.)

LLEGE

RUNNING COUPLE SWEAT SHORTS – USD 124.00

This was the pair of shorts I knew I wanted the moment I saw them online. (Choosing the color took a little longer, though.) Lately, I’ve been leaning more toward shorter shorts instead of longer Bermuda styles. That’s how I ended up finding this pair. They’re one of those pieces that really need to be seen in person. The color sits somewhere between a deep blue and a faded vintage tone, with a washed finish that photos don’t fully capture. It’s one of those things you just have to see with your own eyes. The length was exactly what I was looking for too. Not too short, not too long—just easy to wear without feeling over the top. If you’re ever interested in LLEGE, I’d definitely recommend visiting the showroom. Seeing the clothes in person makes them even better.

HERITAGE FLOSS

COTTON ROLL BAG WHITE (M) – USD 48.00

I picked up this shoulder bag from HERITAGE FLOSS. It has a buckle closure with a roll-top design that you fold over and fasten in place. I wanted something a little different from the usual tote bag, and I liked that I could change the shape depending on how much I rolled it down. The buckle also gives it a bit more character than a regular bag. It just felt perfect for summer. I really liked the AllCottonService collection, but this bag ended up being one of my favorite finds too. To be honest, I’m more drawn to pieces like this than HERITAGE FLOSS’s logo-focused designs. (Although the AllCottonService logo is pretty good too.) I tend to wear lighter clothes during the summer, so it felt great to finally find a bag that goes so well with them.

POLO

Classic Fit Mesh Polo Shirt – USD ???

I found this polo shirt at a Polo outlet. I’d been wanting a polo shirt for a long time, but every time I tried one on, something always felt a little off. The length wasn’t quite right, or the fit just wasn’t what I was looking for. This one was different. It’s a women’s polo, but the fit feels different from the usual ones. The sleeves are a little longer, and it doesn’t have that fitted, shaped silhouette. At the same time, it still fits closer to the body than a men’s polo and has a slightly shorter length. It was exactly the fit I’d been hoping to find. (So there was really no reason to leave without it.) One thing I like about Korean outlets is that you can often find pieces at better prices than regular stores. It takes a bit more time to look around, but sometimes you come across something that’s just right for your own taste. Curious about outlet shopping in Korea? (Let me know in the comments.)

This time, it’s all about accessories.

Summer and accessories just seem to go together. I never used to wear much jewelry, but for some reason, I really wanted to this time. So I spent a while looking around before finally picking a few things. (Now I can’t stop wearing them.)

3,2,1 PARTEZ !

Signature O ring – Matt Silver – 120.55 USD

I found this ring at PARTEZ in Hannam-dong. I’ve always liked things that look simple but are surprisingly hard to get right. Whether it’s design, proportions, or just good taste, those are usually the pieces that stay with me. That’s why I was looking for a ring with almost no design at all. Something that looks effortless. I remember seeing an actor who always wore a plain silver ring like this. No matter what else he was wearing—his clothes, shoes, or glasses—the ring quietly held everything together. It never tried to stand out, but it never disappeared either. I’ve been wearing this ring almost every day since I bought it. Whether I’m dressed up or just sitting here writing this note, it’s always on my hand. I don’t want this ring to make me look stylish. I just hope it becomes something that feels like me. (I’ll leave the “looking cool” to everything else.)

KASU (VINTAGE SHOP)

Beaded Bracelet – ???

I got this bracelet from KASU, the vintage shop I visited in the Euljiro episode. Like I mentioned before, KASU has a great selection of accessories. I was looking for something lightweight that would be easy to layer with other pieces, and I ended up choosing this beaded bracelet. I really liked the overall color combination. The sky blue base with small white and black details felt simple but still had its own character. Seeing it in person made me like it even more—the slight shine and the solid feel of each bead were really nice. (It’s handmade, too.) Handmade beaded bracelets are pretty easy to find these days, but this one stood out right away. The quality felt different the moment I saw it, so I had to bring it home.

That’s it for my summer shopping. I actually didn’t buy that much this time. (Although I do tend to shop whenever the seasons change… and whenever I find something I like.) I’ll keep working hard so I can share more things with you. Hope you enjoyed it. (Enjoy the process. I will too.)
